Access to water, safe spaces, and community protection services are essential for peace. In June 2025, Hold the Child, supported by UNHCR, rehabilitated boreholes in Udici, providing clean water to schools and reducing GBV risks for women. A youth centre was also launched to give young people space for leadership and learning.
Additionally, in Boromedina, a police station construction project was launched to strengthen the rule of law in high-risk areas. These initiatives foster peaceful coexistence, reduce protection risks, and create long-term safety nets for children and families.
