With UNHCR support, Hold the Child safely relocated 1,588 individuals (521 households) from Abyei and Raga to safer camps in May 2025. Each family was registered, documented, and provided with food, shelter, healthcare, and education.
Despite logistical challenges, the process was successful, highlighting the power of effective partnerships. Post-relocation support continues to ensure families integrate into their new environments with dignity and stability.
